Praise for Digital Literacy
In case you missed the August issue of School Library Journal, it was all abuzz with our Digital Literacy database!
"If ever there was an ideal product for the 21st-century student, this is it...the Ellis Island for today's middle and high school students and their teachers."
If you're not already familiar with this resource, give it a visit! Digital Literacy explores topics like cyberbullying, digital etiquette, search and research skills, privacy and digital ethics, and content creation tools, ensuring users can safely and effectively navigate the digital world.

St. Joseph School District, MO
Teen Health & Wellness Builds Community in St. Joseph, Missouri
Mike Buckler, the Health, Physical Education Curriculum Coordinator at St. Joseph School District (SJSD), discovered Teen Health & Wellness by chance and knew it would be the perfect tool to help his district with the development of a new middle school and high school curriculum, especially with the integration of Common Core. Students use Teen Health & Wellness for classroom research and independent inquiry, and teachers use the database for professional development on text complexity and informational texts. Teen Health & Wellness is just one part of SJSD's community-wide collaboration to ensure its students are college-prepared and career-ready.
To learn more about the great things being done in SJSD, read the full case study.
